American Express, the founding sponsor for the Tribeca Film Festival, hosted a month-long 15-second short film competition. Submissions were gathered online and the winning clip, chosen by a panel of celebrity and festival judges, premiered on the final night of the 2006 film festival.
As the sole interaction designer on the project, I designed the layout, functionality and overall user experience of the Flash site. The competition asked users to submit a clip as a response to one of the questions from the "My Life, My Card" celebrity print ads (e.g., "My wildest dream," "My perfect day"). Users could also browse through published clips organized by category, rate clips on a 5-star scale, download to their iPod or play the clip on their cell phone.
The temporal specifications that I created for this project will serve as a template for the Internet Solutions department.
